Paxton and Whitfield Pickled Walnuts


Walnuts are picked whilst green and still soft, trimmed, and placed in brine. They are then air-cured until completely black and pickled in small batches during the Autumn.

The result is a truly distinctive condiment which is ideal for the cheese board. Try a thin slice with a mouthful of creamy Stilton. The tartness of the walnut coupled with the dense savoury richness of good Stilton is an absolute winner, and the perfect end to a Christmas meal.
